A. Optical-grade Epoxy (Best + Most Common)

Pros
- High transparency (>95%)
- No fogging
- Waterproof + pressure-resistant
- Safe with plastic lenses
- Ideal for bonding a flat protective window
Cons
- Long curing time
- Must be applied carefully

- EPO-TEK 301
- EPO-TEK 301-2
- EPO-TEK OG142 / OG159-2
- Loctite 3771 (Optical Epoxy)
Advantages:
- Does not whiten (no blooming)
- Safe for plastic lens elements
- Very high transparency
- High mechanical strength after cure
- Can be used for waterproof sealing
Suitable for:
- Bonding a dust/protective cover to the rear of the lens
- Sealing the lens rear for waterproofing
B. Optical UV Adhesives
Examples:
- Norland NOA61 / NOA63 / NOA65 / NOA81
- Dymax 6-621
Pros
- Very clear
- Fast UV cure
- Safe for plastic and glass
- Precise control
Cons
- UV light must reach the adhesive
- Not ideal for thick layers (>1 mm)
